Ready To Honed Tube (also known as pre-honed tube) is a high-precision steel tube with an inner diameter (ID) suitable for further ID treatments, such as honing or skiving & roller burnishing. Our ready to honed tubes are either deep hole bored or cold drawn to ensure a precise ID allowance—typically -0.3mm/-0.5mm or -0.5mm/-0.8mm—perfectly preparing them for the final processing stages.
As a reliable supplier of hydraulic cylinder parts, we provide ready to honed steel tubes in various grades including E355, ST52, STKM 13C, and 27SiMn. By controlling the wall thickness and straightness strictly during the cold drawing process, our pre-honed tubes significantly reduce the time and cost required for final honing, making them ideal for manufacturing hydraulic cylinder barrels.
